Nespresso Champion Recycle Week

Nespresso is supporting UK Recycling Week by highlighting the easy ways to recycle their aluminium capsules. A two minute film shares the three different ways to recycle the capsules, and by doing so, reinforces the importance of recycling.

Drop off with CollectPlus:

  • CollectPlus have over 7,000 local stores offering a place to drop off your recycling bags conveniently.
  • Fill your recycling bag with used capsules (approx. 200 per bag).
  • Attach a CollectPlus label to the front of your recycling bag. A label will be provided with your recycling bag or you can print extra labels if needed here. You can obtain a recycling bag from any Nespresso boutique or by contacting the Nespresso club on 0800 442 442.
  • You can also obtain a recycling bag when you place an order online.

Arrange a collection:

  • Collections are Monday-Friday only. If your order is delivered on the weekend, recycling will be collected the next working day.
  • Please leave the recycling on your doorstep if you will not be at home at the time of collection.
  • Fill your recycling bag with used capsules (approx. 200 per bag). There is no need for any labelling.
  • Request a collection for the same time as your next delivery during checkout.
  • Please note not available at weekends, only available when placing an order in your shopping bag (limited to 9 bags per order).
  • Recycling bags usually collected at a different time to deliveries. Otherwise, add a Recycling Collection to your basket during your new order.

Drop off at a Nespresso Boutique:

  • Fill your recycling bag with used capsules (approx. 200 per bag).
  • Take your bag to your nearest Nespresso Boutique. There’s no need for any labelling.

Throughout UK Recycling Week, Nespresso are reinforcing their recycling message via direct digital communications with consumers alongside, and by sharing a new film featuring consumer testimonials on social media.

Additionally, journalists have been invited to Nespresso’s recycling processing facility in Cheshire to see first-hand how we recycle and the businesses commitment to the sustainable usage of aluminium.
